Ben has been involved in sports ever since a young age when he shared time between the soccer field and baseball diamond. As he got older Ben also participated in track & field, swimming, volleyball, and powerlifting. His first introduction into resistance training came in high school when his track & field coach taught his team basic weightlifting. What started out as a way to improve his athletic performance and overall health has turned into a way for Ben to become an elite trainer, teacher and coach. Since then Ben has worked with hundreds of clients get stronger, move better and improve their health.
Both a scientist and an exercise practitioner, Ben considers himself a true Movement Mechanic. He utilizes his engineering background to methodically deconstruct movement patterns and make them optimal for everyday and sport applications. His goal for every client is to establish pain-free movement and impart as much wisdom as possible for a healthy, sustainable future.
Ben is a certified personal trainer with the American Council on Exercise and Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. He is also pursuing his Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practice at the Canadian College of Osteopathy.
